Site Superintendent Job Summary:

The Sales Development Representative (SDR) is a forward facing role and will often make the first impression with potential clients and partners of Precision Environments. SDR’s are responsible for lead generation, outbound prospecting, and initial customer engagement. Your goal is to connect with key decision-makers, qualify opportunities, and set up sales meetings for Seniors Sales team members.

This role is ideal for someone who is competitive, goal oriented, and has a proactive mindset. Candidates should have strong communication skills, and an interest in advanced science & technologies including but not limited to medicine, aerospace, EV batteries, and semiconductors or engineering and construction. You’ll play a crucial part in growing our sales pipeline and expanding our reach in the cleanroom market.

Primary Duties/Responsibilities:

Lead Generation & Prospecting

  • Research and identify potential clients in industries that require cleanrooms (e.g., Life Science, aerospace, biotech, semiconductor manufacturing).
  • Build a targeted prospect database using LinkedIn, CRM tools, and industry resources.
  • Monitor industry news and project announcements to identify new business opportunities.
  • Conduct cold calls, emails, and LinkedIn outreach to initiate contact with prospects.
  • Engage with key stakeholders to understand their cleanroom needs, budget, and project timeline.
  • Qualify inbound leads and set up discovery calls for the Sales team.
  • Following established criteria to determine both inbound and outbound lead quality (e.g., BANT: Budget, Authority, Need, Timing).
  • Follow up on inbound leads generated through our website, referrals, and marketing campaigns.
  • Travel for project site walks and customer visits as needed with the Sales Manager.

CRM & Sales Pipeline Management

  • Maintain detailed records of outreach and lead interactions in our CRM system.
  • Track outreach effectiveness and report key sales metrics (e.g., call-to-meeting conversion rates).
  • Assist in managing and optimizing the sales pipeline to ensure a steady flow of qualified leads.

Market Research & Competitive Analysis

  • Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging cleanroom projects.
  • Identify new potential markets and companies that could benefit from cleanroom solutions.

Sales & Marketing Support

  • Travel to conferences and trade shows as needed to drive incoming leads and improve industry knowledge.
  • Assist in the creation of sales presentations, proposals, and outreach materials.
  • Coordinate with marketing to refine messaging and outreach strategies.
  • Support trade show and industry event planning by identifying key attendees and scheduling meetings.
  • Help with scheduling, set up, and breakdown of tradeshow booth.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of sales, business development, or customer-facing experience (or a strong desire to break into sales).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; you’re comfortable making cold calls and writing engaging emails.
  • Natural relationship builder- candidates should relish in building and maintaining new relationships.
  • Strong research and organizational skills to manage lead generation efforts.
  • A self-starter mentality with the ability to take initiative and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with (or willingness to learn) CRM tools and other prospecting software.
  • Interest in Cleanrooms, Construction, Science & Technology, and/or B2B technical sales.
