As with many modern day businesses, our company has a rich history and has grown both organically and through mergers and acquisitions. Each of the organizations that became part of the Precision Environments story has added a strong chapter of growth and longevity, confirming the longevity and strength of our business. Control Solutions
In 1989, Precision Environments was founded as Control Solutions, a specialty controls company based in Cincinnati, Ohio. Controls Solutions quickly became a leader in the burgeoning controlled environments industry.
T.A.C. Control Solutions
As the company began to grow and evolve, Controls Solutions was renamed T.A.C Control Solutions.
Schneider Electric
In 2000, Schneider Electric acquired the company. Steady growth and expertise in metrology laboratory environments continued.
Precision Environments, Inc.
In 2005, several employees purchased the company from Schneider Electric. Precision Environments became a privately held company with continued international expansion.
Precision Cleanrooms
With the advent of specialty cleanrooms for a variety of industries such as pharmaceutical, manufacturing and biotech, Precision Environments started a wholly-owned division called Precision Cleanrooms. Precision Environments has become a ISO cleanroom leader.
Precision Environments
Upon the retirement of the company’s founder, employees Bryan Scrocca and Tim Vonderhaar acquired the company with a commitment to client success. In 2023, the company updated its branding and pledge to become the premiere controlled environments partner.
