Cleanroom Site Superintendent

Precision Cleanrooms® is currently seeking a Cleanroom Site Superintendent who will be the primary interface between the customer, vendors and contractors. The selected individual will provide the day-to-day leadership necessary to direct materials, equipment, subcontractors and local authorities in the cleanroom construction project. This includes input on estimates, schedules and quality control during the project pre-construction and construction phases. The superintendent is expected to be the point person on the work site, allocating the necessary time to fulfill the requirements of project objectives and completion schedule. The Cleanroom Site Superintendent will ensure best practices in field operations to guarantee timely completion of projects, quality control and compliance with industry and government regulations and codes. The Cleanroom Site Superintendent should have a comprehensive background in all aspects of general contracting and construction management.

85% TRAVEL REQUIRED

Duties:

  • Act as primary interface between Precision Environments and the customer
  • Is responsible for meeting or improving project schedules
  • Conducts necessary meetings with customer for project review and ensures meetings are documented
  • Is responsible for on-site quality control, fit and finish
  • Manages and coordinates subcontractor activities on site
  • Conducts weekly/daily job safety meetings
  • Tracks subcontractor labor through daily sign in sheets
  • Develops punch lists with customer
  • Is responsible for drawing mark-up for as-built drawings
  • Solves coordination and construction problems in the field
  • Submit daily and weekly job reports
  • Update project schedules, weekly

Qualifications:

  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, both oral and written using MS Office suite
  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
  • Must be able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to travel for extended periods of time, as required
  • Knowledge of HVAC is preferred

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree and/or at least four years of job experience as a Project Superintendent
  • Associates degree and/or six to eight years of work experience as a Project Superintendent in a related field
  • Can demonstrate knowledge of construction process and job coordination by job related experience
  • Eighty five percent travel
